Kathleen Hubbard is a self-taught artist with no formal art education, who has been creating jewelry for over 35 years. Her latest line, Artista, involves applying both her original art and photographic imagery to light-weight brass components, in various colors and themes.
Kathleen says, “A walk through the woods, a visit to the beach or even a trip into the city leaves her with ideas to carry back to the studio to develop into new delightful images for my jewelry. I enter the studio every day with joy and gratitude for the opportunity to follow the path of my creative evolution. “
“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way--things I had no words for.” Georgia O'Keeffe
